GLH Construction was the general contractor which included all the earthwork grading, 18" under drain system 30' deep with a pump system, 27" down to 8" sewer main, water main, non potable water mains and pump system, curb, gutter and sidewalk, and all street work including paving, signs and striping. This was a very wet project that had many obstacles. The project was done earlier than planned and under budget.
GLH Construction was contracted by the JB Swift Beef Plant to install 18,000 feet of 18" force main across Weld County to a treatment plant. This project had many different easements on it which consisted of different farmers and irrigation ditch crossings. Heavy traffic control issues with Weld County had to be addressed and GLH had to work around the Beef Plant schedule. Night and weekend work was included. GLH came in on schedule and budget.
GLH was awarded this project which consisted of installing a 2,600' of 54" class, box base manholes, inlets, up-sizing of all waterlines. concrete work including curb, gutter and sidewalk and a full reconstruction of the existing roadway. This project was a real challenge due to the existing utility crossings that were very deep and wet. This project was completed on time and on budget.
GLH Construction was awarded this project which consisted of 20,000' of trunk sewer line from 15" to 8" at depths of 20' to 9' in dry and very wet conditions including going next to a wetland for 1,900', down the middle of WCR 3 for 1,10' and across many different property owners. This project had a multitude of engineering delays but was finished on budget and on schedule.
GLH Construction was awarded this project as general on this 295 lot subdivision. GLH provided a turn key project to the developer performing every aspect on the construction including: surveying, material testing, earthwork, off-site sewer, on-site sewer, off-site water, on-site water, non-potable system (including pump station), storm sewer, all concrete work including curb, gutter, sidewalk and trail, and all road work including paving, striping, signage, landscaping and dry utility coordination. This project was completed early and on budget.
GLH was awarded a service contract with the City of Evans since 2007 to replace existing fire hydrants and install new valves within and outside of the city limits. GLH works with city officials to work within their yearly budget to make sure they have a successful project every year.
GLH Construction was awarded this project for the City of Brighton. This project consisted of installing 14,800' of 12" water line from the west side of Highway 85 to Barr Lake State Park. This project had multiple bores, ditch crossings, limited construction easements, 24" intake pipe 200' into an existing lake and a irrigation lift station with a building enclosure. This project came in under budget and on time.
